Myself in a Nutshell

I am Morgan Mastel.

I use They, Them pronouns and am apart of the LGBTQIA+ community and those who are also, welcome welcome!! 

I used to be a case manager for 3+ years. I worked with adults who experienced Schizophrenia, Bipolar Personality Disorder (BPD), Severe Depression, along side mental disabilities. I would help those who experienced such things find independence from living in a residential facility to living independently.

I worked in foster care as well. I worked visitations and case management and saw a lot while there. While I saw those experiences on the professional side of things, I understand, the value of empathy and listening to those who went through those experiences first hand.

I worked in child Care and endured the endless questions and sick coughs and boogers of children for years to the point where I was a site director of a before and after school program for a bit. My love for those kiddos was never ending and I continue to imagine that them, along with my clients from case management and kiddos from foster care are growing as beings little and tall into the people they were meant to be.
